Grants administrationAustraliaBuilt for funders

Public money,
accounted for properly.

One platform from the day a round opens to the day the last milestone is acquitted. Every decision recorded, every dollar traceable, every applicant told where they stand.

Why it exists

Funders spend more time on spreadsheets, inboxes and version control than on the decisions only they can make. The administration is not the work — but done badly, it becomes the work.

The seven phases

One round, end to end

  1. 1

    Setup

    Open a round

Build the form, set the dates, publish a landing page. Public, private or multi-stage.

  2. 2

    Application

    Collect applications

Applicants save and return, collaborate, and are told exactly what is still outstanding.

  3. 3

    Assessment

    Assess fairly

Assign assessors, gate on declared conflicts and confidentiality, score against published criteria.

  4. 4

    Decision

    Decide and tell people

Moderate scores, record the reasons, send letters with conditions attached.

  5. 5

    Contract

    Contract and vary

Draft, send, sign. Vary, terminate or withdraw, with the document snapshot kept.

  6. 6

    Milestone

    Track delivery

Deliverables, due dates, reviewers, and reminders that go out without anyone remembering.

  7. 7

    Payment

    Pay and reconcile

Batch, approve against limits, mark paid, and sync to the accounting system.

Questions

Asked often

Can we run more than one programme?

Yes. Funding categories carry their own branding, forms and approval limits, and reporting can hold them apart or together.

What happens to an application after the round closes?

Nothing is deleted. Records are deactivated, archived or retired, and the audit trail keeps the history either way.

Who can see an applicant’s answers?

Only the people whose permissions and data-access rules allow it. Assessors with a declared conflict lose access outright.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes — applications autosave, so an applicant can start on a phone at a hui and finish on a laptop that night.
